Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th, 1970) is an American actor. The actress from the United States is known for her roles on both screen and the stage. Allison Janney was a regional actor for more than a quarter of a century before her fame was established for her role as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg The popular and well-regarded character from The West Wing by NBC (NBC 1999-2006), is an established name. Allison Janney has always been a late to the party. Her Ohio driving license one year later, at 17 years old. The first time she met a man was until she was enrolled in the university. She auditioned from age 23, however she did not make her first screen appearance until she was in her in her mid-twenties, even though she was a regular since then. Faris is extremely selective about her roles after she left Mom in 2020. One exception is 2022's The Estate. Faris has told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that she wasn't conscious of her decision. Anna Faris left CBS's hit sitcom Mom just before its final and eighth seasons. Faris had said at the time that she'd be resigning from the show in order to pursue new career opportunities. Now, Faris is opening up about her reasons for making the choice. It wasn't something she did consciously. Janney, who has been wearing a wig from the very beginning of the show she wasn't worried. Fallon stated "'Guys I've wore the wig from the beginning of season 1, but no one was aware of it. So now everyone in the world is conscious.'" Janney plans to keep her wig to preserve an ephemeral memory. During the early seasons, it was reported that she made as much as $125,000 per episode. Faris as well as fellow co-star Allison Janey, are estimated to have earned $200,000 an episode as of the end of season 4, or in third season.
