Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has her mind about being born into an environment that was a "white bubble" and how that realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, in terms of skin color, it doesn't really matter. However, after talking to her sister who is adopted from South Korea she realized just how differently society treats them. "I asked Meg what she thought about being that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than the times she was out alone. She said: 'Oh yes, I've seen it all!' Heigl told her parents she realized the extent of her ignorance. She admitted that she was angry and felt that she had to channel this anger to support her children. Heigl as well as her 13-year-old husband -- the singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 an African-American child) in 2012.
